Matcha tea ice cream

I really like working with matcha tea and many wanted to make this ice cream, the vi in Canal Cocina, a chef named Josep Maria Ribe, that makes a program “chocolate“, which is amazing, makes some cakes and a few spectacular desserts. Not everyone likes the taste of matcha tea but this ice cream mixed with chocolate is a delight and encourage you try it, you will be surprised.

Layer cake of Strawberry and chocolate


Ingredients: (For a mold of 15 cm):

-200 g sugar
-3 eggs L
-50 ml sunflower oil
-1 yogurt griego1 teaspoon essence to taste (I used Strawberry aroma)
– 200 g pastry flour
-1 teaspoon of baking powder type Royal
– 3 tablespoons pure cocoa powder (I use the brand value)

We sifted the flour, yeast, and cocoa and mix together.

Advocaat cake with chocolate

Advocaat cake with chocolate can be very fast and easy to prepare. The cake tastes juicy and keeps fresh for several days. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a loaf pan and sprinkle lightly stick also with a little flour. Eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl and fill with a whisk to stir the food processor, creamy on the highest setting.


Then stir in sunflower oil at first, until the eggs are associated with the oil. Then stir in the eggs eggnog. In a second bowl, combine flour with baking powder and semolina and stir on low heat. The dough is thick. About two-thirds of the dough pour into the loaf pan. Cocoa powder and chocolate chips with the remaining batter stir and pour a long strip on the center of the light dough. Chocolate ice cream

Mix egg yolk with fine granulated sugar, cocoa and 50 ml of well-cooled milk until the chocolate has dissolved. Fine granulated sugar is more soluble than ordinary table sugar. Add the remaining 150 ml of milk and stir. Well-chilled cream almost beat until stiff. Stir cocoa mixture underneath.


Best to think of this mixture for 20 minutes in the freezer (not longer, so it does not crystallize). Then again briefly open and then into the ice maker fill. 45 minutes stir in the ice machine. At first it looks a bit grainy, but smooth later. If the ice can not be eaten immediately with a rubber spatula (spatula) or decant from the bowl into a clean, well-sealed and put in the freezer cold. Continue reading
