2 1/2 lbs (1,133 g) or 7 cups shelled fresh peas or frozen Englishmen 1 tablespoon olive oil 3 tablespoons butter 1 cup finely chopped white onionFull list.
The first step in making this pea soup is setting aside 1/3 cup of peas for garnish.
The second step in this soup is heat a pot over medium heat and add the olive oil and butter. When butter foam kick, add onion, passes the heat to low and cook slowly for 5-10 minutes until translucent and very tender. (Do not let the onion is golden, as it may discolor the soup.)
