How to cook Orange Chicken

Did you eat that delicious orange chicken from Panda Express? Would you like to do it yourself but do not know the recipe? It is very easy to do, and you may already be eating this tasty treat in a few minutes.

Orange Chicken


Cut chicken into small squares and put in a bowl. In another bowl add the egg, salt, pepper and 1 tablespoon oil, stirring well. Add cornstarch (make sure to leave about 1 teaspoon into the bowl for later use) and flour. Mix well. Dip the chicken in this mixture until covered well.

Put to heat a deep pan with oil covering the bottom. Then gets the chicken to the hot pan and fry until all pieces are cooked through, about 5 minutes. Remove chicken and drain it.

For the sauce: Put a pan and fry in preheated 1 tablespoon oil, ginger and garlic for a few seconds, until they release the scent . Add the dried chili and onions and saute for 15 seconds more. Then orange zest, soy sauce and rice wine, leaving it to a boil. Very well incorporates chicken orange sauce and remove from heat.

Add water to remaining cornstarch and mix well. Combine this mixture with the chicken with orange sauce and put everything to heat until the sauce has thickened. Remove the pan from the heat and serve immediately.
